Tier Rankings 2016

Here are My Tier rankings for 2016. Tiers are arranged into categories by position and then listed with ADP and Tier next to players name. ADP (average draft position) is a collaboration of espn, cbs, fantasypros and nfl.com. ADP isn’t EXACTLY where these players are going, every league is different and every league has home town favorites, it is just the AVERAGE spot these players are taken. If you go by this sheet you can cross referance value at a glance for the most ease of use.

REMEMBER! Tiers are not a player rankings in order, a Tier group are valued all the same and allow you to draft the best value at your respective turn. Example: Aaron rogers and Russel Wilson are both tier 1 QB’s on this list, Russel Wilson is being drafted, on average nearly 2 whole rounds later, therefore representing the greater value.

Enjoy!

TOP 200 Rankings

All of my rankings I do in a .5 ppr format. If you are in a standard league bump down volume guys  and bump up high touch down guys, and the opposite for full point ppr. Shouldn’t matter all that much either way which is why I like to stick with .5 ppr. Solid base line numbers for everyone. Remember! These Rankings are completely my opinion. Scratch guys off, move guys around, do whatever you want to do! just have FUN doing it.

These tiers are groups of players at each position who will all likely finish the regular season with about the same amount of fantasy points. ProFootballFocus Tiers article is a great article, a little dated but the point is made and why rewrite something done so well?

Since beating the dead horse seems fun, here are my several cents of info on TIERS. Continue reading

fantasy-football-meme

The purpose of this website is to help everyone that enjoys fantasy football to be more educated with how they do personal research. no matter how many click bait articles you read or how many rankings you view, everyone needs help on what information actually matters and how to apply that knowledge into tangible success within your very own league.

Lets face it, everyone has a friend that wants to tell you what to do with your fantasy team, how to do it, when to do it and then pokes fun and blasts you on the league message board when what you do fails, regardless if you accepted his/her advice or not(yea everyone hates that guy *cough* douche *cough*) . All the while he finishes every year either not in the playoffs or barely making the playoffs. whether this ‘friend’ is in your league or not and has any idea what the layout of your league actually looks like, we all need to realize that nobody can tell us EXACTLY what do with our own team other than ourselves!

Through links and articles from other sites as well as expressions straight from the Platypus himself, Our goal is to have a one stop shop at helping everyone gather USEFUL information and put in place specific guides that you then can apply to your league and dominate it with an iron fist!. (At least that is the end result we are hoping for!)
